What they rang about
No hot water.
What I found
The old Dux Prodigy gas storage hot water service had stopped working, and the installation didn't meet current compliance requirements, so repairing it wasn't an option.
What I did
Removed the old unit, covered the recess in the brickwork with a Colorbond flashing panel, upgraded the gas line in new copper and installed a Thermann continuous flow system with the hot and cold lines lagged.

What they rang about
The client was building a new deck, and the old gas storage hot water unit was right in the way. They wanted something compact and out of the way.
What I found
The tall storage unit sat right where the deck needed to go, and the existing gas line wasn't sized for a continuous flow unit.
What I did
Removed the old storage unit, upgraded the gas line from the meter, and installed a new Rinnai Infinity 32 continuous flow unit on the external brick wall, with the hot and cold lines lagged. The deck got its space, and the household got endless hot water from a unit a fraction of the size.

What I found
The old Technika 26 gas continuous flow unit was no longer heating the water properly and had reached the end of its life.
What I did
Came out promptly to diagnose the problem, then within a few days installed a new Rinnai B26 continuous flow system in the same spot on the wall, connecting to the existing gas and water lines.
