What I found
The old Dux Prodigy gas storage hot water service had stopped working, and the installation didn't meet current compliance requirements, so repairing it wasn't an option.
What I did
Removed the old storage unit and covered the recessed hole in the brickwork with a Colorbond flashing panel for a neat, weatherproof finish. Upgraded the gas line in new copper to suit the new unit, then installed a Thermann continuous flow hot water system on the panel, with the hot and cold lines lagged. Tested everything, and now they've got endless hot water with no tank to run out.
